Terms

The plain-language version of what you and Veriti agree to when you use the product. The binding version arrives with public launch.

Status: Veriti is in invite-only closed beta. This page is a plain-language statement of how the product currently works and what we expect of each other. The legally binding terms will be reviewed by counsel and published before public launch. For a DPA or enterprise contract today, contact legal@veriti.so.

The deal

You give Veriti read access (via your stored credentials) to your PRO portal and your distributor account. Veriti uses that access to fetch your royalty data, reconcile it across sources, and surface it back to you in a dashboard. We don't move your money, change your registrations, or make decisions on your behalf without your explicit confirmation.

What you're responsible for

  • The credentials you give us are yours, and you have the right to share them with Veriti for this purpose.
  • You won't use Veriti to access data that isn't yours, or attempt to extract data about other users.
  • You'll follow the rules of the upstream services you connect. If TONO or DistroKid's terms forbid automated access (they don't today, but read your own contracts), connecting them via Veriti is your decision.

What we're responsible for

  • Keeping your credentials encrypted at rest. AES-256-GCM via src/lib/tono/crypto.ts. Encryption key held outside the DB.
  • Best-effort uptime. We're in beta; we don't guarantee 99.9% availability yet. SLA terms will arrive with public launch.
  • Showing you the source of every number. If we report your earnings as X NOK, we'll show you which Avregning xlsx, which line, which settlement period, where X came from.
  • Never silently making up data. If a source returns nothing, we show a gap, not a guess. See sources.

Termination

You can disconnect any integration at any time. You can delete your account at any time via the portal settings or by emailing legal@veriti.so. We can suspend accounts that violate the "what you're responsible for" terms above, with at least one notification email before doing so unless the violation is ongoing and severe.

Liability (the lawyer paragraph)

During the closed beta, Veriti is provided as-is. We aim for accuracy but cannot guarantee that every reconciliation is perfect — the upstream data we read from is itself imperfect. Veriti is not responsible for royalties that should have been collected but weren't, or for decisions you make based on the dashboard. Use the data as a starting point for your own verification with your PRO, distributor, or accountant.
